Terms of Use — AnalyzeIt

Last updated: 9 September 2026

What this is

AnalyzeIt is a free educational website for practising SQL, Python, R and Git. It is provided as-is, for learning. It is not a certification, not a qualification, and not professional advice.

Using it

Use it for learning, personal or commercial. You may not:

another person's account;

You do not need an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself, and for what happens under your account.

Accounts

Accounts are free and optional. We may suspend or remove an account that is being used to attack the service or another user. You can delete your own data at any time from the account menu.

Content and ownership

The lessons, exercises and code of the site are the work of Iyed Habibi.

The datasets used in exercises are small samples written for teaching and modelled on the shape of public datasets; they contain no real personal data.

Names used in exercise data — employees, customers — are invented. Any resemblance to real people is coincidental.

Third-party software. The site runs SQLite (via sql.js), Python (via Pyodide) and other open-source components in your browser, each under its own licence. Referencing SQL, Python, R and Git does not imply any endorsement by, or affiliation with, the projects or companies behind them.

Trademarks. GitHub and LinkedIn are trademarks of their respective owners, used in the footer only to label links to the author's own profiles.

Accuracy

Every SQL and Python exercise solution is machine-verified against a real engine before release, and the interface states which tracks are automatically checked and which are written answers compared against a worked solution.

Even so, teaching material can contain mistakes. If an exercise marks a correct answer as wrong, that is a bug — please report it. Nothing here should be treated as authoritative for production work.

No warranty, and limits

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It may be offline, may change, and may be discontinued.

To the extent the law allows, the author is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site — including loss of progress data. Progress is not a backup. If it matters to you, export it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Changes

These terms may change; material changes will be noted here with a new date.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the author's country of residence, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction — except where consumer protection law in your own country gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
